Frankie has PgCert, PgDip & MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from Mentonia Institute and PgCert in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regent’s College London and BSc (Hons) in Health Education. To broaden her knowledge, Frankie has gone ahead to obtain Diploma in CBT, NLP, Coaching & leadership.
As a member of the BACP and BASW (OCNLR), Frankie works in accordance with the Ethical Framework and Professional Guidelines from these organisations. This includes undergoing professional supervision in her work and continual professional development.
Frankie has vast experience of working with various Charity Organisations and has used her therapeutic framework to work with individuals presenting with various issues such as addiction problems, domestic abuse, and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, personality disorder, PTSD, OCD, eating disorder etc.
For over 15years, Frankie worked with St Mungo’s as a Substance Misuse and Mental Health Specialist and Brief Intervention Officer providing individual work, therapeutic support group and crisis intervention.
Frankie uses relational approach to help individual reflect on core values such as respect, inclusiveness, honesty, compassion, and humility. Frankie’s relational humanistic approach emphasises on therapeutic relationship and she demonstrates skills such as empathy, compassion, non-judgemental attitude, and she pays attention to individual inner strength. She also demonstrates sensitivity to spirituality and diversity. She uses the core concepts of Transactional Analysis to help individual and groups to reflect and build more effective communication skills for better relationship, with the core believe that we all have the capability to change, grow, and have a healthy interaction with each other.
To gain an in-depth understanding of issues of abuse, Frankie has obtained Safelives Accreditation training. She has been doing extensive work with victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual violence. Frankie is very passionate about ensuring safety for victims/survivors and their children. Frankie works closely with Local Authority Family & Children Social Services, Housing and Met Police to ensure safety and safeguard victims/survivors and their family. Frankie has provided all levels of support to Survivors of Domestic Violence, Rape & Sexual Assault and those who experienced Childhood Sexual Abuse.
