Dr Hannah Rogers has been providing therapeutic interventions within the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist for the past 7 years. Specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EMDR, she provides evidence-based psychological therapy, both on an individual basis and in groups, to clients living with anxiety and depression. A particular area of interest is trauma and Hannah is experienced in treating clients who have experienced trauma in their lives, whether that is to a single incident in their adult life or to traumatising experiences childhood.
Whilst relying on research and evidence to guide her treatments, she is committed to putting the person at the centre of therapy and tailoring treatment to suit their needs. Her training enables her to use a range of theoretical frameworks to understand and work with a person’s distress, including the use of cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, person-centred and systemic ideas.
Having worked in multi-disciplinary teams in forensic, learning disabilities and physical health settings, and as a senior practitioner in an adult psychology service, Hannah has well-developed skills in supervision and consultation. She is passionate about supporting colleagues to consider a psychological perspective when working with complex clients to promote the wellbeing of staff as well as clients.
