Laura is a Psychotherapist at her private psychotherapy practice in London. She has 8 years clinical experience in psychotherapy and holds over 15 years’ experience of working with vulnerable adults and children in the UK which she gained through various roles in psychotherapy and counselling services, including NHS but also in the field of substance misuse, domestic violence (as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate) and homelessness.
She also works as an Outreach Coordinator and Mental Health Lead for St Mungos and additionally, as an Assistant Tutor on an MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy programme at the Metanoia Institute, validated by Middlesex University.
Prior to this, she undertook outreach and key-working to rough sleepers in Ealing and Westminster and also spent 5 years working with women affected by domestic violence most recently with IDVA and before that as an Eastern European Community Outreach worker.
Laura believes that by focusing on here-and-now interactions and becoming aware of how past experiences interfere with your current functioning, you can reach your potential for creativity, growth, and change.
