Satinder studied at University of Derby and has a MA in Integrative Counselling. Satinder is an accredited, registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) & UKCP.
Satinder works as an Integrative Psychotherapist who has worked in the third sector, NHS GG&C and private sector over the past 25 year nationally – delivering therapy via a number of remote platforms with young people and adults.
Satinder is also an Individual and Group Clinical Supervisor & Executive Coach and her portfolio of supervisees/coaches range from administrators, support workers, counsellors, nurses, consultants (NHS GG&C) and several individuals in the private & third sector.
As a Punjabi speaking Psychotherapist/Supervisor Satinder can work effectively with individuals taking into consideration some of the issues that are faced in small communities. Satinder has an interest and vast experience in working with Trauma (Judith Herman Model) working with Survivors of Domestic Violence, Rape & Sexual Assault & Child Sexual Abuse.
Satinder worked extensively with people in the homeless community both as a key worker, manager, and supervisor. Satinder brings all perspectives to the table with both clients and supervisees.
Satinder has vast experience in working within multi-cultural settings including Schools, Colleges & Universities, Religious Environments, organisational environments working with Trauma, Tradition and Culture. Satinder is an East African/Indian, living in England and now have been adopted as a Glaswegian in Scotland. Satinder appreciates the difficulties she has faced and respects diversity and difference.
