Ula is a UKCP/MBACP registered Gestalt Psychotherapist who has been working in various therapeutic settings with adults, children and adolescents for the last twelve years both in private practice and in multidisciplinary teams. She holds an MSc. from Middlesex University and Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute and B.A with QTS in English and Teacher Training.
In order to deepen her professional practice she worked as one of the assistant tutors on the MSc in Gestalt psychotherapy course at the Metanoia Institute as well as a counselling therapist in a community school and facilitated and co-facilitated workshops on stress reduction, mindfulness, body process and resilience.
Ula has regularly participated in mindful movement classes/workshops along with mindfulness meditation courses across Europe and trained with contemporary Shamans in Scotland. Most recently she trained in Gestalt Play therapy and in using creative arts and sand tray when working with children. Ula is also a trained secondary school teacher with specialist training in social studies and working with children with special needs.
